Traditional Ballet Training

Our recreational ballet classes focus on traditional barre and center work, providing students with the essential techniques needed to build a strong, beautiful, and graceful body. With an emphasis on fine posture and poise, students learn the fundamentals of ballet while developing strength, flexibility, and musicality.

 

Pointe Work Assessment

For students interested in pursuing pointe work, a mandatory foot assessment is required before beginning any pointe work. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and ensure that they are properly prepared before advancing to this advanced technique.

Exam and Performance Options

We offer two tracks within our recreational ballet programs: exam classes and performance classes.

• Exam Classes: Students in exam classes focus on preparing for ballet exams in the spring. While they will not participate in our year-end recital, they will have the opportunity to showcase their progress and skill through formal exams, providing a valuable learning experience. • Performance Ballet Classes: Students in recreational ballet classes not only participate in our year-end recital but also study additional techniques such as Checetti and Character work. These classes offer students the chance to experience the thrill of performing on stage while honing their skills in a variety of ballet styles.
